I see #Alberta is spending their taxpayer's money on expensive ad buys again. The front and inside pages in today's #OttawaCitizen was filled with their pitch for #Ottawa to drop its production cap so they can keep pumping their dirty crude. Can't have been cheap.
No doubt it will give #PierrePoilievre's #AxeTheTax campaign a boost as well.

I think #JagmeetSingh handled it well, pointing out the more than 30,000 #palistinians killed (and of course the obligatory mention of #Israelis killed in the Oct 7 attack).

This #CBCNews article mentions the same protest outside Beth Avraham Yoseph, but at least says what it was about.

@npub1mmf…eknq Seems they inherited it - the domain was granted before the Taliban took over. ".af" is Afghanistan's country code so they control it.
They're not actually shutting down the Mastodon server, but since they control the top level domain, they can cancel the registration.
This queer.af announcement explains it all (though it seems it may be shut down earlier than they thought).

He notes the caucus itself is divided - Anthony Housefather and Marco Mendocino are clearly on the #Israeli side while others like Salma Zahid want the atrocities to stop.

He seems to be saying he supports the ''idea'' of the ICJ but he must follow Israel in this case, just because.

Many "important people" who were against legalization suddenly became big supporters and investors. I believe that particular error was just from some random tweet. Imagine the garbage facts it would pull from apparently credible sources like this article on #Swifties in the #NationalPost (reproduced in other #Postmedia papers).
