New owners, indeed, painted it the light gray. But that's on them. We loved the blue.
The house we owned before that had strong colors. Each room had its own color, too. It was awesome.
Current house we had to move in too quickly to customize, but the people before us already had different colors in most rooms. I still want to paint, but the colors are a nice feature already.

Made the unfortunate discovery that the GFCI outlet a chest freezer is plugged into tripped sometimes in the past. We only noticed today. Everything was thawed and ... Scent full.
This happens somewhat regularly with this outlet for unknown reasons, and yes we have had it replaced recently. Still happens.
We had been in the habit of checking the outlet each day. But not the last little while.
That's a lot of food and money we won't get back.
