This is Shani, by the way, 23 years old. A German-Israeli. She went to Nova music festival for a party.
She’s the one who was filmed on Saturday laying face down on a pickup truck. Naked. Her leg terribly broken and dislocated.
Shani’s body is still being held by Hamas in Gaza along with 228 other hostages. The Red Cross is still not allowed to see them.

The family gathered to clear combustibles from around the house when a fire truck with a crew of three men arrived. They were sent by USAA (our fire insurance company) to help out!
It was wonderful, they helped us carve a new firebreak, then Cal Fire assigned them to spend the night on our Ridgeline.
By the morning, the fire was knocked down. As the crew wrapped up, we felt blessed and protected! 🙏🏻

You ever been to Hawaii? Even though the cost of living is very high, and they live in paradise, they actually make, on average $15 under the median income for the United States. Most Hawaiians live a hard Scrabble existence like the rest of us.
Rents are very high, and much of the property is owned by people who live off the island. There is a 3,000-person waiting list for rental assistance.

It probably is staged, but what a great idea. Opera has been dying out, along with its audience. Rich donors supporting the arts, gala benefits, opening night formalities are being lost wi older generations.
Perhaps it's time they rethink their presentation of the classic arts to make it more meaningful for younger audiences... ballet and orchestral concerts as well. So much great music!

It's too bad opera companies don't do this more for outreach. What a great way to get a taste of an upcoming performance! It might drive more of an interest in the classics?

This is a freaking awesome practical joke. I was really glad my boss had a good sense of humor when this got attached under his desk.😉🤣
It also fits perfectly inside a cubicle raceway, 👇🏻 once you pop off the end cap. This is nearly perfect, completely concealed and impossible to find. The beep echoes through the raceway, but you can't determine the source. Mine would do a random beep, cricket, modem, doorbell, etc. Or all sounds at random.
Truly maddening, or so I've been told! 😉😂🤣

Officials say the island is apocalyptic: The wildfires raging out of control in Maui are so catastrophic, some residents are jumping into the ocean to escape the flames. The Coast Guard is rescuing those in the water.
Emergency crews are having difficulty helping in the infernos.
911 & cell service is down, power outrages, people trapped & burn patients have overwhelmed hospitals.
