Unpacked my "backup" 4G router, and I'm getting around 50Mbit/sec off it. I'll take that! SoGEA is getting installed soon (tm), and I'm up and waiting for an engineer to fit a smart meter on the leccy this morning.

In more eco-friendly news, I've ordered a kilo of worms and some test garlic (Caulk Wight and Czechmate), so I'll get the wormery running and plant out the cloves in buckets next week. Those six-hour days, though...

Last night before youngest goes to uni tomorrow. With our house move, it's the last night in the house he grew up in as well. And the village. It's weird. I feel immensely proud yet sad. I can feel myself welling up as I type this. Early start, so off to bed, and hopefully, things will feel better tomorrow. ❤️

Rural and rustic hive mind of the fediverse, help me out. Can anyone identify this cooker, or even the brand from the label/logo? As far as I can tell it's a solid fuel cooker and it has a chimney out top. May also provide heat for the property, not sure yet. Boosts gratefully accepted.

Aaaargh. I'd forgotten how stressful the house buying and selling process is. Doubly so when dealing with one side of it in English law (which is shit and slow), and the other half in Scottish law (which is transparent and relatively swift). Sigh.
