and on the back of the busy day - (concert this evening) I made lunch for 5 visiting relatives (& my own family) today - but couldn't eat much of it because I was wound up about the performance. Good news is now I've come home to the most epic homemade mean (....true meaning of 'here's one I made earlier!')
including the last bits of this fruit tart! I was glad there was some left over !!

someone offered me a hive of bees for the garden - and they said they would be willing (and able!) to come do all the 'beekeeper' things on a weekly basis. They just need a garden for an extra colony.

Today I learned tow new pages of a piece.
I'm learning the rest of the Cassado Solo Suite. I played the first movement, and over the past two days I got down the notes of the second movement. Today I added the first two pages of movement three.
(saying this because it's been a less than great day otherwise and I want to end it on a good note!)

Starting the long journey back…. Passing through Liciester now… 4 trains in total and I’ll walk in the house just before midnight.
I’m glad I came, even carrying the cello and a suitcase full of knitting.
My presentations and performance were in the ‘graveyard’ slot and the audience was small, but they were fantastic and after the chair’s question for me was why was I not the keynote? - I told her that was a good question!

A good thing ...brightened my Monday morning.
After dropping my son at school, I stopped in the pull-in place on the side of the road just to check... and I was in luck ! There was one box of eggs and I had the £1.50 to put in the honesty tin. My morning (and breakfast!) is complete.

I've been in Greece for the past 4 days, and I have done, seen, and experienced so much. Tomorrow I'm recording the new musical work I premiered last Friday. Last day tomorrow - It seems like I've been here at least two weeks !
And I've spent time with a very good friend, which has been an incredible pleasure and privilige.

@npub1ahr…m294 One thing that might be missing (not that you want more sections!) is the idea of analytics as inherently transforming 'people' into numbers - categorizing and re-forming individuals into something they are not or did not say they were. Where's the idiographic representation and how does the ethical person rationalize the idea of purposefully dissolving the individual? (That thought stems from the stuff I've been developing/working on to preserve and showcase the individual)

Running update...
I figured out I ran over 600 miles on teh shoes I got in early December, and so I've bought some more shoes... but they are SO expensive and I'm never sure about the feel of different brands or the 'new' models that I've bought shoes that were second hand from people who wore them for a day or a few days.
How do you buy running shoes without breaking the bank???
