One of the characters in “The High Republic: Beware the Nameless” is a neurodivergent-coded tween Hutt named Churo (misspelled as the namesake Churro on one page). He’s a sensitive vegetarian who loves plants and bugs and is more interested in becoming a scientist than joining his family’s ruthless business. He speaks Basic and, unlike other Hutts, wants to get an education. I hope there will be more stories about him.

On the way to the theatre this morning, there was a lemonade stand on the side of the road. A big, burly biker in black leathers had stopped at it and was chatting with the children and their mother. It was a funny, cute sight. Further down the road, we passed by a large group of bikers. I hope they all stopped at the lemonade stand too.

I watched all the way through "The Boy and the Heron" thinking Mark Hamill voiced the strange heron man. It sure sounded like him, and if not for reading the credits, I'd still think it was him. I was very surprised to learn the heron was actually voiced by Robert Pattinson.

Last night's dream was one of those where I was someone else in it. A young woman in a Victorian steampunk outfit, I had a strange tribble that was part bread (?!)—it grew back any part of it that was shed or eaten. I saw the TARDIS on the edge of the city, counting down its departure, and raced to catch it before it vworped away. I was warmly welcomed by the 10th Doctor who, before he left, told me we'd meet again and revealed I was also a time traveller.
