Bitcoin is like a massive human fund, where those who hold it, share our risks, our hopes and carry each other when the market undervalues our energy, our time and our future.
We are not on sale anymore... And when it seems like it because we compare btc to the old fiat world, we are reminded how we were so easily tempted by the very things that brought the few wealthy. We might have even believed that if we did what the wealthy did, we too would be. But the numbers never added up. We would have needed to become like them to gain that kind of wealth. I'm unsure of how many wealthy people have a character if high integrity and compassion towards humanity that their methods to acquire wealth did not change that along the way, or once they had it, how much they stayed true to those values.
We get excited if bitcoin goes up, but what's more exciting is that then we actually need less of it.
Bitcoin became a humanitarian fund and all you have to do is use it without trading it for lower quality monetary tools.
Look for leaders and mentors you want to learn from to add to your individuality, for being wealthy is not automatically a sign of virtue, rather, how you use it.

Freedom's purpose is to grow. We are nature's creation and that has been our path since the beginning of time, so it's only natural that we fight for it when it's restriction is imposed on us.
This includes when there is a controlling opposition in our path that is rewriting our cultural meaning to possess our loyalty, the oppression of our ability to express our needs in non-violent ways like taking to the streets or posting digitally in social communities and even through financial control which is essentially controlliour energy and what we want to grow with it.
Privacy is in the same boat. Without it, we cannot explore in safety our path. The very act of knowing we are observed follows the same quantum phenomenon called the observer effect meaured in quantum mechanics. This means that simply observing a quantum system (like a photon, or like in our case, a person's behaviour) forces it to take on a definite state (typically the state which is safest according to the observer), even if it was previously in a superposition of multiple states (figuring things out, expressing thoughts, especially through communication to others, which are possible paths, choosing which one to follow, which one gives us our best growth possibility).
You could say that our digital networks with all our voices is all of the thoughts of our emerging global identity which is trying to become one coherent voice to be the new leader of how to address our needs. Through this network, we will re-establish a self awareness of who we really are to each other and how important it is that we are all healthy, like cells in our body (We are the evolved conscious cells of this planet) so we can live in a healthy body, a healthy planet.
The importance for the real reason to have freedom, might be better understood at that time, when we realize that it wasn't just for individual freedom, but to help free others as well.
We are all one big family with different roles and living conditions, again, no different than your own body. It's time we start thinking how we want to treat our global family instead of letting political leaders tell us how we should. We are finding our way through freedom tools like bitcoin and nostr. We are creating and using the very protocols that will govern this new body so we are never governed by individual cells again.

I just went through my following list and realized how many I was following that have not posted for over a month and unfollowed them all. They were all part of my automatic onboarding. I did notice some kind of preference for those who were primal subscribers. It would be an interesting idea to have something set up where automatically unfollow people who have not posted after a certain amount of time.

I'm glad Bitcoin is not a quick turn-over for greater financial wealth. It forces you to wait, and deal with deep questions as you ride the rollercoaster, like "Who are you when you strip away all the money?"
If you are nothing without the money, then you are nothing with it, for all it can do is preserve your past energy into the future for greater opportunities. But while you wait for it, "how" you wait for it strengthens the character you'll be when it's time.
It's not what you make of bitcoin when you are profitable, rather what you make of yourself while you wait for it.
The person you become is done without wealth, for money just enhances who you are already... and for many, this is a distraction in their journey towards strengthening a virteous, kind and compassionate person.
For those who find enlightment through bitcoin, they may realize that if you could manage without that store of wealth while you waited for it, being happy as you work, laughing daily with friends and family, working towards your ikigai, living in the present joyfully... then you don't need it, you never needed it. You just needed to believe in yourself.

If you are all in already, then any income you get and save from it, you can convert quickly to BTC. This means you would have been paid that really anyways while the other fiat is just used right away for expenses that don't accept BTC yet. Then the price of BTC doesn't matter anymore.

But to clarify, doesn't consolidating the blocks during these cheap/free times mean you lose that extra privacy when you go to spend it as all would be coming from one account from thereon? Everytime we increase the circle of our market, globalizing, we meet with those already standing in the transition zone. They are the ones who are at the right place, at the right time. Looking to set up a non-profit organization with Nostr as new way to reach out. Finding it interesting how to resolve the issue of securing the private key, while still providing post permissions without leaving with the key if the person changes roles. Up to now, doesn't seem possible without a hardware signing device which they could still remain with it after leaving their role. Even if it's not easy to implement, anyone with a simple solution to maintain, is appreciated.
But @npub1get…0nfm could be the solution to separating at least the access to the lightning funds from the Nostr account. How about it, Alby? Just need that invite to test it out 😉

Do you mean earning income? Because receiving money, you can just use something like Strike by lightning or Wise by foreign fiat. Shouldn't be charged taxes on receiving money. Just earning it above any personal tax credits you may have in that country.

Technically, it already limits me. I only follow so many and eventually I read up to the point where I got to from the last time I read. Boom, done.
Trying to get it all in, was one factor that started the fiasco with algorithms: How to get what was most important to the top so it's not missed because there was too much to realistically go through. Then of course, more uses came of it, like what the platform's controller thought you should see more often. Eventually, people started to speed through posts to get to the ones they were more interested and that became a daily habit.
This may sound mean, but if one found their sweet balance with how many they follow, replies they make to comments, etc... then the next one they think is worth following, they could boot one following off their list that is not worthwhile of that extra time of their life.
Replace time with money and one has the same formula: Want to spend more? Then spend less on the least valuable to make room for the new want. To be in control of one's own time, one must take it, not delegate it, or else it's much harder to be aware of what changes one needs to make to make their life healthier.

Agreed, it's a slow death for any inflationary currency. But it's a matter of choice to use USDT over BTC. Education in both creates informed decisions, in particular how an old underlying fear of preserving one's personal economics for survival, intercedes with the ability to believe that one could be saving into bitcoin, but it's something that won't be touched for at least 4 years.
But which, but a wealthy Argentinean, could do this if more than 55% of the country is living in an economical poverty state? Why would they choose a 4 year hold on any money, which historically has always proven to be a failure in preserving value? Especially as they see the downward volatility as a negative in case they miscalculated and they needed the money?
So USDT is chosen. Better a lesser inflationary money than one that could get them out of that rat race, but unpredictable when.
I agree with @npub1s33…252p here. USDT is like a smarter contract than their local currency, but not the smartest. It's why it's understandable why they do this, but almost like an educational war of the truth is coming abouts, helping people realize, like we did, to start with maybe 1-5% in bitcoin, while we used the dollar. They too could start with that and help transition their understanding that this is one protocol that doesn't lie to you. Unlike many of their (and our) politicians, it truly does what it says it will do.
