i use the following plugins:
- my knowledgebae is powered heavily by dataview - https://blacksmithgu.github.io/obsidian-dataview/
- thots are created by the official unique note plugin - https://help.obsidian.md/Plugins/Unique+note+creator
- templates are inserted into thots using the official template plugin - https://help.obsidian.md/Plugins/Templates
... and i have yet to write a plugin for the cron template selector stuff near the end; that's currently done manually and i have ideas on how to automate it

thots should be tagged heavily:
- each template has a heading which is also a tag
- some todo items also have tags
- some templates are specifically for tracking information and contain a set of dataview tags; i have one of these to track stuff about HRT
tags let me track information from thots in knowledgebae more easily
the one thing left to build is a way of inserting dynamic time based templates

then i have another folder called knowledgebae which is a place to summarize thots
i use obsidian dataview to query the mostly-immutable daily notes and provide summaries that i can use to review my usage of the productivity system.
one of these notes is healthz, which uses a chart.js + dataview to visualize the 4 golden signals:
- (requests) notes / day
- (latency) edit duration of note (last modified time - created time)
- (errors) untagged notes / day
- (saturation) average size per note

my ideal Obsidian workflow is nearly complete; after years of chasing the perfect productivity system for my weirdo brain i have landed on something that mostly works kinda
it works like this:
- each day i create a unique note in a folder called thots
- i add lists of habits from a set of templates like journal-bedtime-main or routine-morning-minimum
- i review yesterday's note and go through each unchecked item and decide if it should be brought to the next day or dropped
