Copenhagen likes to call themselves the bicycle friendliest place but I get the impression that it's more because they're car unfriendly by way of 100-150% tax on cars, rather than actually good bike infrastructure. Hard to fathom how cars still don't pay their way at those tax rates. How have the numbers changed in the dozen years since that article?

There are ranked voting methods that count votes by more representative methods than IRV / STV's plurality-first, but they're not the ones being pushed by Rockefeller money. In IRV, if everyone universally agrees on a second choice but that candidate doesn't have a large enough plurality of first-choice voters, they're eliminated first. Proportional STV is slightly less worse, but those 200-year-old methods are proven to not deliver what is promised. https://equal.vote

if the vast majority mostly agree on climate justice and racial equity, why can't they elect people to get it done? Have you seen what "ranked choice" lobbyists have done to attack grassroots voting reform measures in Fargo, St Louis, Seattle, Portland, and Eugene? Well-funded lies and astroturf by "FairVote" and the establishment to preserve the two-party system of vote splitting. St Louis got it done though, more cities should try the Approval+runoff
