Yes, 100%. The 90s is a pretty good dividing line: before cell phones, but IM on desktop computers; there's still a cohesive "mainstream" pop culture, but you can find niche groups online and "underground." CDs sucked though, haha

Sure, but we really haven't had widespread deflation anytime since then, so we're still living with that inflation plus the more recent/current inflation.
Maybe 1958 is a better guess? I went with 70s because the 90s already felt past the peak when I was there. Better music, y'know?

I use f droid and obtainium, and aurora is good as well as others suggest. As well, if you want to do graphene on "beginners's mode," you can use the play store by enabling Google play services in sandboxed mode on graphene. You won't get full cypherpunk points for this, but it can make the transition easier at first
