*I have CO2 cartridges for the road bike, but I doubt it's realistic to do a 26x4 with those.

@npub1hqx…944s A2. I haven't really used a trainer much, and when I last did, it was 10+ years ago before I knew about some of these cycling apps. We gave the trainer away (and regretted it a few years later) when the kid was born but we didn't have space for a trainer. Now we have a little more space, so maybe it's worth trying again? I'm interested in reading the responses to see what apps/systems are out there. I'm lucky enough to have decent weather much of the year, so riding outside is usually an option.

I had old handlebar type on one of my bikes, and the rubbery part of it got soft and now it leaves marks all over my hands. I got new tape to replace it and purchased the most cost-effective option, but now I wonder about the nicer stuff.
Q5. If you use handlebar tape, what are your preferences? If you have handlebar grips, what do you like? Basically, what do you like to hold when you steer and pedal your cycle? ☺️

I rode my ebike up the hill today to go to an event. In doing so, I passed a sporty guy slowly on the left and called out “on your left” in the most polite way I could.
I heard him grumble what sounded like “battery” and I guess he had gotten a little upset because a minute or two later he sprinted past me while we were riding up a small hill.
Impressive, I guess, but why? 🤷‍♂️

I brought a cycling cap to Portland, and then realized it had a big hole on top. "Well-worn and worn well" as the cap maker told me. I tried to buy a new one as a souvenir, but couldn't find one that I liked.
Asked around at shops and got the vibe that employees of less-sporty shops viewed cycling caps as sporty. I was not looking for a sporty accessory.

I got so many flats on my old tire that I paid more than normal for a heavy but more flat-proof tire (Schwalbe Marathon Plus). My bike is noticeably heavier now and a little harder to carry. But hopefully I'll spend less time frustrated repairing flats.

Do you have any tips to share about keeping your cycle upright and stationary when you are parking/loading it? (maybe just stationary if it's a trike or a quad) Are there any products (kickstands or other) or hacks that work well?
