My cheat answer is Doctor Who. Because if we ever got an "ending" then that means there can never be any more. Which is not possible with Doctor Who almost by definition. :)

I shall be fascinated to see how the new definition will attempt to exclude all the Tufton Street thinktanks and every 'opinion' columnist at the Daily Telegraph though, since they are entirely ideological entities as well. (I imagine that the get-out will be that as they don't 'participate' in direct violent action, they can't be held responsible? The problem being that existing rules already cover that.)

Camestros Felaptron is making a reasonably good case that it's more likely to be cock-up than conspiracy; a very inexperienced team running a complicated event with intricate data. And then they have doubled down by not providing any transparency to try and avoid blame - and making it worse as a result.
(That's not excluding any other explanations, of course! There may well be external factors.)

I really enjoyed that. Especially the comments about Barbie - as a man, I was having those experiences of not knowing how to react to something that wasn't necessarily 'for' me, but which was clearly going to have an impact on the intended audience. And you are quite right; my life experience was sufficiently invalid in that context to mean that much of the messaging of Barbie was going to sound trite or ridiculous to me, even though it obviously wasn't. So I shut up. 🙂

I think there's one too many P's in there? Not that I already knew how to spell this word, you understand.
(Also, what's wrong with just the "sesquipedaliophobia" bit? Sesquipedalian is the generally recognised term for long words. I assume the extra prefixes are for exaggerated comic effect, but I think they get in the way myself.)
