I've screwed around with #socialmedia for several years and have decided it's not very much fun. It's much more fulfilling to find some niche group chat online and chat with people there. Posting out into the open internet feels more like an invitation for headache. I wish this wasn't the the case, but it has been my observation.

I know there was some debate about Sats vs Bitcoin. Seeing this, I actually kinda like the Bitcoin symbol instead. One universal unit. Most people will never get into the weeds of a 21 million supply, why that matters, etc. Letting people know there's a capped supply is probably good enough.

I'm learning about the lightning network at the moment. It took me a while to come around to why Bitcoin is the best, and I'm seeing if that holds true for Nostr's potential as well.

I love alternative app stores. I've been using #F-Droid for years and just found out about the @nprofile…tdq0. I reinstalled @nprofile…nrxl through it. I'm hoping to use a de-Googled #Android OS soon but haven't got there yet 😮‍💨

Lackluster
Timeless tutors yet clock moves onward
Readily do we cast aside the wisdom of an elder life
Or perhaps, they too
are absent
Wristwatch is loose, I want to fill it…
...with strength of arm and right-handed ways
But I’m a lefty, oh no, dismay…
...at what I do fill, my mind of toil yet hands, idle
Work widens the wallet then sets the sun
Muse is costly, alien to mine eyes
she’s difficult to find with unsettled mind
Still, I could be her Adonis
Generosity would be in need to find something of worth in me
Worth wrought through body gruff
Calluses by callousness dawned by difficulty still to come
Establish now what is to be the fruits of they labor
For those who endure until the end
are those who have been made men
Yet made men must not forget
the maiden who lead them away from sin
Her excellence in endurance, assurance of they worth
Not gemstones or jewelry, acts or attitudes, pleasure, or passion…
But every year the two remain that picture
Dust decorates the frame of the legacy left for loved ones

Adverse, revert, toxic inaction
Plague spreader of a wide-eyed paradigm
Under bright lights we dance and play
The days far spent, though we never cared anyway
Toy and fancy drew us away
Vibrant flickers and wave of hand
Magicians wrought slaves under the great tin man
Profit they did and idols we made them
Puppet strings have long drawn out
Mannequin all men became, on fishing line a fishing game
Reel to rule, lust over love, meaning gone…
No more speaking of
A priesthood of provocateurs, spawns of serotonin shamans
Evocative in power, summon your master, shower his praises
Kept lies to smile, feel something within
Dismay delayed, vision is sin
Deride truth and look no further
Future is now, our own lives we murder
The Sacrifice has been demanded, payment past due
Tab put toward blood rituals to please panopticon

Art. Artist. Critic. Adoration
An analysts’ autoerotic fixation
A penny for a life devoid of patron
Pick up the pieces, pedestal placement…
…of a poor life glanced over
Auteur we found!
A saint we made him!
Canon by rich man’s sick amazement
Gone the maker, but still I stand,
to profit off this woeful man
The worse he was, the wonders better
Resurrected to wares by archon peddler
Oligarchs ensnare a child’s vision;
groomed to become artifact derision.
Unfair, unfazed, the cycle goes onward
Begat of trial or wealthy wiles
We etch ornate tombstone tiles

Is it a lack of faith?
An impatience grows
ever greater, yet, slowly…
We journey forth stuck, alone
‘till fear or death bring us home
Laud the unknown, laud the worry
Lord and us to test
quicken us, hurry
lest we dally in dreams
“Lead us not into temptation…”
yet us fools lead lives to chasten
Forsake us not, forgiveness aplenty…

I need an interpreter of dreams to explain to me why I spoke with Brian Armstrong in my dreams last night. It's probably because I deleted my #Coinbase account. I will say, he seemed like a nice guy, but I'm not a fan of his business. And yes, I did use Coinbase for like $30 worth of swapping #altcoins over to BTC. I know better now.
