I couldn’t wait for the next part because I wanted to share already. Everyone I know is a massive fan of Edward Hopper and his clear influence of film noir within his beautiful stark, lonely urban landscapes. His use of shadow and light give off such a mood and atmosphere which is somehow different in every painting. Art has long served as a beautiful reflection of political ideologies in the pursuit of artistic freedom. This is something I thought Nostr was first conceived upon. It has now woken up a few white catholic suppressed girls and boys who think they also know what it is all about. (They don’t). Art is the peaceful revolution within our world and always has been. For me artists like Kara Walker confront racism head-on, using provocative imagery to challenge societal norms. Ai Weiwei, through his activism and installations, critiques political oppression in China and beyond. Faith Ringgold's quilts and narrative paintings explore themes of race, identity, and social inequality, offering a powerful commentary on the African American experience. These artists dismantle conventional narratives, urging viewers to question power structures and societal constructs. Through their work, they provoke dialogue, challenge perceptions, and advocate for change, highlighting the interconnectedness of art, politics, racism, and freedom. These are the ways to really challenge freedom and maybe not posting nonsense.
So we would like you to use lots of different mediums, Painting, sketches,photo, cutout, poetry, musical piece, whatever best characterizes your art.

Captured a number of years ago this self portrait was finished in pencil and watercolour. For me this was a time that was particularly special in my heart. The freedoms I had, the time and willingness to fling myself into places and people. This felt like the springboard of my life. Creating this gave me time to register and reflect. I like this angle because to be totally honest something didn’t sit right with me but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I was taken more by the idea itself.
I’m starting to think it was the Gallery venue and this adds to it wasn’t rebellious enough. Does it have to be this way? Other parts of the show made me feel empty. Breaking down blockbuster art shows.

I attended a new Art exhibition in Manchester today with the theme of Economics.
Goldin + Senneby produce work that probe the concealed operations of the financial world.
Here they reimagined the art museum as a central bank. (Which I rather enjoyed then doing) Observing that a museums stored collection is their financial asset that lies dormant. So they then took this stored asset and printed, using a printing press as many copies of it as they could. A quantitive easing of their prized asset and of the museums economy.
Museums are central banks.

The Arnolfini Portrait 1434 by Jan Van Eyck.
This tapestry is inspired by the artist’s visit to an area in south east England, which reportedly had the highest average household income in the UK. The kitchen table at the centre is like a still life of objects showing Tim’s middle class wealth: organic vegetables, a cafetière of coffee, a jug of fresh flowers and homemade jam. Tim’s computer software business has been very successful and the headlines on the newspaper on the table and on the iPad announce that he has just sold his company to a billionaire businessman for a large amount of money.
Grayson thought it refreshing to use tapestries -traditionally a symbol of the rich to depict a commonplace drama within working class areas and produce a social commentary on the current generation.

My friend this is nail on the head stuff. I couldn’t put this in a more perfect way. Everyone should take note of this.
I will do my best on here to improve this situation and improve people’s understanding of art and NFT’s. So many have been burnt.

I mean I can do. I think those major galleries are just cashing in at the moment and it won’t last (it’s over). I’ve been to a few shows and if you look at the coverage it’s mostly images of the people who attend rather than the work. Also if you look at the art it’s a total rip-off of major works throughout art history that the average person has no clue about. I’ve seen it so many times it’s embarrassing.

I think so yeah. It’s his little stories about the tour and France itself. Just a really great insight. Loads of background stories on the teams as well. Not something I’ve been to before but all the family have and say it’s great to witness.
