This has been one of the hardest times to be an independent creator. AD revenue is in the toilet, everyone and their mother has a membership so good luck trying to start a new one, and platforms want their cut (:cough: YouTubes 45% :cough:). Even I have considered going and getting a regular job, and I hate regular jobs. How does Apple not see they aren’t taking 30% from Patreon, they are taking 30% from independent creators?? The people they claim to love.

In December I crossed over 30 million total views. Not a bad way to finish off the year. Hopefully with the kind of, sort of, soft reboot of my channel I did in September I can double that even quicker.

I might be done with Obsidian. The bugs have become so bad. I moved my notes back over to Drafts. I love the idea of Obsidian, but its iPad app has become rough over the last few months.

@npub1eee…e209 I had this same thing happen with my iPad Pro the other day but it was running the beta of iPadOS 17.1 (the version before the new RC that came out the other day).
Plugged it in over night, woke up the next day and it never charged. Looked at settings and it showed it was plugged in and “charging” for that time. Plugged it into my studio display and did the same thing. Rebooting it solved the issue.
Hasn’t happened since.

I just published my 2023 wallpaper pack. This includes the images I have been using as my wallpaper for the last year or so.
This pack has **twenty** different high quality images. Ten from nature, ten from the city. There are **three** versions of each image properly cropped for different devices. I made them for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, but they are extremely high resolution images so they should work on any device.
