My issue with Passkeys so far is that there's not a lot of seamlessness to using what should be a seamless solution. Your existing password manager might support it, might not, your device might or might not, and is it per device? It just seems unclear and too invisible. I await improvements to the process.

But I think the idea that it can't be deleted is concerning. I also feel like a social media response may not equate to the same thing I'd leave as a comment on a blog post, but that line is a bit blurry perhaps.

Detailed examples:
- Ghost, WriteFreely, and any other thing that doesn't run on PHP, I can't set up because it's a shared host, aggressively restricted (in Ghost's case, couldn't get the node version I need either)
- Grav seems like it needs some love, it just felt like I was using a less-maintained WordPress with a list of themes recommended that had broken links
- static site generators don't work for me if I already have a whole website built and just want to tack a blog onto it

However, after looking at several options, it's either more work to set up than I'd like, or isn't an option on my shared web host.
So my options seem to be:

I was stubborn about wanting my blog posts to show up on my site but didn't want to build a CMS lol so I used my Wordpress blog and then I read the RSS to my own site (I still link Wordpress's generated RSS feed though)
This is obviously hacky (though a fun experiment), is there a better solution than Wordpress+reading RSS for something like this?
