At a UN event focused on the inclusion of women in Afghanistan, Amherd mentioned that just four years ago, Afghan women were involved in peace negotiations, held leadership positions, and had political influence. “Today, they are no longer even allowed to decide for themselves when to go grocery shopping,” said the President.
The most recent so-called virtue law by the Taliban, which forbids women from raising their voices in public, clearly shows the goal of systematically silencing women and banishing them from public life. To be clear, I don’t have an issue if #Bitcoin drops in value, as that just means you can buy it at a lower price. But what really puzzles me is that everything else seems to be going up. The #S&P500 is rising, #gold is climbing, bonds are increasing, and even #silver is gaining value. The only asset that isn’t rising is Bitcoin. It seems strange.
