The GoAlberta made sure that the date at which they reinstate fuel taxes coincides with scheduled increases in federal carbon tax. On Mar 31 they will piggy back a provincial increase of 4¢ / l onto the Apr 1 federal increase of 3¢ / l and then tell people ‘it’s all Trudeau’s fault’
… and people here will eat it up

Rose hips make excellent tea and tasty jelly, and have historically been a significant source of winter vitamin C in many parts of the world.
They are closely related to apple - if you cut them both across the ‘equator’ you’ll see the same 5 pointed symmetry - I didn’t about the raspberry connection: yay! Now I have a new rabbit hole to dive down!

“changing the habits of lifetimes”
It is remarkable how few lifetimes that really is… my grandfather was born into the world that predated the ascendancy of cars. But in just a generation or two we completely built and rebuilt our communities around cars.
The good news in this is that if we did in just a generation or two, we can undo it in a generation if we really put our minds to it.
