I saw a lot of accounts of Black people, Indigenous people, saying the Fedi was hostile and the answer “I haven’t seen it but ok” was unacceptable then (correctly.) I argued with a ton of white people who came into Black timelines and tried to minimize racism by saying they “just didn’t see it.”

The 5-4 Supreme Court ruling that forced the EPA rule change is in keeping with the court’s fealty to billionaires in the oil and gas business that are its main constituency.

I have that book for my daughter. It’s fantastic. If anything, the book teaches children to be unashamedly themselves.
Telling someone they can't be who they are is wrong. The fact that we are in such shortage of teachers and she was fired for it is ridiculously short sighted.
