I think of life, especially of social animals, as a braiding of competition and cooperation. Behaviors have evolved that make an intricate dance between the desire to share and steal. It's super fascinating and really difficult to separate the two.

Once we get LLMs that can write good machine learning algos, we'll be set. However, we'll probably all have to be hooked up to a earth sized computer to give it enough energy.
