The elevator at Ruth Lillian Barkley housing complex had been acting up well before this current breakdown. GBH News reported on it a week ago. And $100k had been allocated for emergency service. We ought to spend this cash to have people there every day, providing company and bringing deliveries to residents.

Yep, we have to move decisively NOW. We have to take real action to equitably move away from fossil fuel use. No more “carbon neutral by 2050” b.s. Washington has been altogether weak for too long.
Ban personal vehicles from our cities. No new fossil fuel projects—including “natural” gas. Throttle Line 3 back to it’s former rate of flow…
