But for general gameplay there will likely soon be sets of assets crested by the community

but I regularly see my less technical colleagues use such websites, and iam sure they would also like such a diff website.
Because a browser bookmark is a lot easier to use then setting up cli tools on windows PCs

@npub1jpp…u59l there are always multiple places, multiple communities, with varying lifecycles.
I think I have seen 18 different places with php communities, and thats just the last 20 years.
And Iam probably forgetting some.
It never was just a single place, but each time one place closes or dies, people branch out, or some leave fully.
Drifting apart is a part of life.

@npub1cu4…mcxv I guess this is strongly derived from the "everything is a file" approach. And then it never got big enough of a problem to justify change the core part of it.
Not defending it, I also think by now they could and should have introduced a more failuresafe approach on how to store the data

how many bugs and security issues is it introducing because the code its based on has different expectations?
Can it also helping with fixing bugs?
is it easier or harder to fix bugs in its generated code?
