uhahuauhauhhu #lomography charges £20 for shipping a single £8.90 film cartridge from the EU to the UK. No way I'll buy from them, this makes no sense. I'll pay higher prices here but they'll still be cheaper than that. That is some stupid shipping cost.

Here are some photos I took with my #Pentax Auto 110 which uses 110 film cartridges.
For these photos I used a turquoise tinted film by #lomography I haven’t edited this photos at all, this is how they come out from the camera.
I’m loving the results. Might even print some and will for sure experiment with other tinted films.

Telemetry is necessary if you want them to have any kind of insight in what needs fixing and what is actually being used. That doesn't mean I agree with their advertisement explorations, I abhor them, but telemetry is pretty much needed for browsers if you want to be on top of the CVE and bug hunting game.

I HATE GENERATIVE AI.
Got a script for exporting multiple clips in DaVinci Resolve based on markers. Wanted similar for #Camtasia and googled Camtasia scripting. Found A FULL COURSE on it.
The course is AI generated and it is a full halucination. Camtasia doesn't seem support that feature at all.

Today I implemented a very nifty feature. A way to match subscriptions between BlogCat and any third-party feed reader.
Basically, using an OPML exported from your third-party app. BlogCat will figure out which sites are missing betweem them both and allow you to subscribe to the missing site and also generate another OPML for the other app to match its own subscription list.
Check the video, it is pretty cool.

Been working on my own feed reader called #BlogCat.
It is a #WebExtension that adds lots of blogging related features to #Firefox. I spoke about it in a previous post.
Today, I implemented posting to #Mastodon from it. The #Web is a conversation, your blogging tools should allow you to participate on the blogosphere and not only consume it.
Next steps: Bluesky and Micropub.

The reader is heavily inspired by Rad Reader and provides a quick glance into a list of posts. It shows a configurable amount of posts per blog, the default number is three posts per blog. Clicking on a post will open it in a new tab.

When you select to subscribe to a feed. It opens a form allowing you to fill in some information about the feed. Like FraidyCat
The options for update frequency are realtime, daily, weekly, and monthly. BlogCat doesn't fetch in the background, it only fetches when you open the reader.

Surfacing feeds and blogrolls.
BlogCat will inspect the page you reading looking for RSS and Atom feeds and OPML outlines as well. If it finds some, it will display a page action for you to click. Clicking it opens a popup that allows you to take actions related to the feeds and blogroll.

BlogCat is an add-on for Firefox that adds many features related to blogging. It is from the same trunk as "FraidyCat" (fraidyc.at) and "Rad Reader" (cblgh.itch.io/rad-reader) but has a different workflow and feature set as it is deeply integrated into the browser.

That led me into venting to some friends and draft blog post about what I wanted to see in Firefox. I noticed that all my examples there were things I knew how to build and that I been thinking about building for some time. So, in a moment fuelled by rebellion and spite, I started coding it.
It all circles around the idea of the browser as a user agent that should foster a web made by humans and for humans by making blogging a first-class citizen of web browsers.
