Websites that want to share your data and activities with literally thousands of other companies. Companies that sell devices that record what's happening and share that data with god knows who (maybe including the cops).

Yesterday, CNN did an article on the suicide of an IDF soldier who drove a bulldozer over hundreds of Palestinians while they were still alive and how the PTSD from that caused him to commit suicide. They have put a trigger warning on the article because it mentions suicide. But not because it involves the violent injury and death caused to many Palestinians. Their lives and distress neither matter nor count to CNN.

In my writing I actually argue anti-Malthusian arguments. "Civilisation" is not a thing and has no agency. Its a human word. Civilisation is bad because of its consequences, nearly all of which are shoved under the carpet.
