@npub15ml…2w4s I know you mentioned it briefly, but can you talk a little bit more about how you think about the security risks of a clipboard manager? I already feel a little weird when I have to copy a password or API key or something. The idea of having a third-party app get access to those and persist them just seems wrong. Do these apps do something to mitigate that, or do you just not worry about it, or what?

@npub15ml…2w4s The reason I use the small Magic Keyboard at my desk is that the large one (with numeric keypad) makes the trackpad have to sit too far to the right, and it's really uncomfortable for long-term use. I do wish the small keyboard had normal arrow keys, but having the trackpad in a more ergonomic location makes a much bigger difference to my day-to-day comfort than the arrow keys do. I can't have both, so I had to prioritize the one that has more impact.

Pano turned out great. Is this an iOS beta bug? I’ve seen some weird pano results before but nothing like this…

@npub15ml…2w4s The survey didn't give the answer I have for why I'm on Monthly. It's because I'm pretty sure you only HAD monthly when I signed up (am I misremembering that?), and I don't see an obvious way to convert to annual. I’d be happy to be on annual even without a discount, but I don't see an upgrade path for that.

@npub1fq5…p8du @npub1tr8…w0wq Yeah, for sure, I'm ok with some noise. When I say "bad" I mean stuff like serious warping, off-center, non-fill, extreme levels of pops and crackles, etc.

@npub1fq5…p8du @npub1tr8…w0wq If I had to guesstimate, I'd say that 10% of the new records I receive have some noticeable issue, and maybe a quarter of those are bad enough for me to complain and try to get a replacement. Way less than 50%, but also way more than it should be IMHO.

@npub1fq5…p8du Buy new vinyl these days feels like even more of a crap shoot than buying used. I have SO MANY duplicates because I got a damaged or badly-pressed one and they sent a replacement (which often has the same or worse problems). And yet, I keep buying…
