Just to be clear, I'm not saying that the eylenburg comparison was such a collaboration. I was mentioning that I'd heard someone else make that claim, and I tried to make it clear that I thought that person was spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt).
I've since investigated further, and I'm even more convinced that the eylenburg comparison is as objective and unbiased as you could expect any such comparison to be.

A quick check of the GitHub contributors and open and closed issues for the eylenburg comparison does give the impression that it is genuinely independent: https://github.com/eylenburg/eylenburg.github.io
Given that, a quick glance at the actual comparison reveals that GrapheneOS is superior on both security and privacy, among other things. https://eylenburg.github.io/android_comparison.htm
Having established the above, when you look at some of the things Gaël Duval has written about /e/OS and GrapheneOS, like https://xcancel.com/gael_duval/status/1904097790977810458 and https://xcancel.com/gael_duval/status/1905576278108909715#m which seem to try to imply that /e/OS is more secure, it starts to look like he is attempting to use DARVO against GrapheneOS.
Given that GrapheneOS's opponents are willing to use DARVO regarding the OSes' privacy and security, it becomes very plausible that they'll also use DARVO when it comes to people's behaviour. So the accusations that Daniel Micay is a "bully", "crazy", and "toxic" may well tell you more about his accusers than they tell you about him.
Having said all this, with text-based communication, it's very easy to misunderstand the author's tone (either accidentally, or deliberately for the purpose of ruining their reputation). I believe the GrapheneOS account here has misinterpreted supportive and inquisitive comments (including yours and mine) as being antagonistic, and this has not helped them improve their reputation.
But if I had been the subject of attempted swatting attacks, I might well feel under attack generally, and react in a similar way.
(I haven't been able to find confirmation of the swatting attacks, beyond statements Daniel Micay made about them two or three years ago, but they are sadly very plausible as something that might happen in the USA.)

I've actually once seen a claim (with a ring of FUD about it) that the eylenburg comparison was largely a collaboration between you and DivestOS, "without significant input from other projects". Unfortunately, it wasn't really in a place where I could reasonably call [citation needed] on it, and it's probably very difficult for you or eylenburg to prove their independence. Hence my interest in links to code or other verifiable evidence of /e/OS's security flaws, which would make the question of independence less relevant.

What you've been saying so far does seem to have a ring of truth about it, but I would have a lot more confidence if it came with easily verifiable claims, such as links to parts of their source code you think are problematic, with links to corresponding parts of your own source code, and an explanation of the difference. A long-form article is probably a better place for that than a series of toots.

I'm on Inspire, and I could see those sites when I first saw your message, but now I discover that my web server has been having trouble resolving the address of Let's Encrypt's OCSP responder, which adds weight to the "it was DNS" explanation.

I got a bunch of emails from GitHub telling me I have free access to Copilot, but buried in the middle of the last paragraph, it says "GitHub and affiliates may use your data for product improvement", which makes me wonder if the email was really just cover for "informing" me that they're going to make derivative works from my code, and I'm now giving them a licence without any copyleft conditions, regardless of what licence is specifically applied to the code. But I don't know.
After that, it says "You can adjust both data use and public matching code suggestion settings in your Copilot Settings", but I can't find anything about data use when I follow the link they provide. There's a button to "Start using Copilot Free"; do I have to click that before I can opt out of whatever they mean by "data use"? Can I opt out at all? Do I need to opt out if I don't start using Copilot at all?
Does anyone know what's going on?

I like #Wordle, but one of the things that bothers me about it is that it's centralized, so that the New York Times can try to track you and push you into accepting arbitrary terms and conditions. But one of the benefits of centralized Wordle is that it makes it easy to make it a more social game; each day, people get the same word to guess as each other, and they can compare scores and celebrate or commiserate with each other.
But while centralization makes it easier, it isn't necessary for the social aspect.
Yesterday, I discovered #Reactle, a #webXDC app, which you can play in #DeltaChat with an email account, or in #Cheogram or #Monocles, with an #XMPP account, either in a chat with yourself, or in a chat with someone else or a group (but I think everyone in the world gets the same word on the same day, even if they're playing in different chats). Everyone in the chat gets to play separately, and their results (number of turns) are automatically shared with the chat, and you can share the more detailed grid of coloured squares if you want.
As I understand it, webXDC apps are designed to be offline-first, so as soon as you've got the game in a chat, you should be able to play it even without an internet connection. And there's a neat curated list of other webXDC apps at https://webxdc.org/apps/, some of which let you collaborate, adding events to a shared calendar, for example.

I like XMPP, and I also like #peerToPeer things. So why not both at once?
Yggdrasil gives you a stable IP address, and it turns out that the domain part of an XMPP address can be just a [bracketed] IPv6 address, meaning you can have a stable XMPP address, without buying DNS entries, regardless of whether or how often you change how you're connected to the internet.
As an experiment, I tried setting up #Prosody to run on such an address, on my desktop and on my phone. And it worked!
All I needed to change in the default configuration file was the VirtualHost line and the s2s_secure_auth line (setting it to false, so that they would accept each others' self-signed certificates, which is ok, because yggdrasil takes care of the end-to-end authentication and encryption). I also had to persuade each operating system that its own self-signed certificate was legit, so that #Dino on the same machine would be willing to accept it, to sign me in.
And with that, I could send myself peer-to-peer XMPP messages, and it carried on working seamlessly even when I switched my phone's WiFi off, leaving it to connect via its mobile data connection, which is a #CGNAT IPv4 address.
Having seen #libp2p try and not yet succeed in CGNAT holepunching, I'm really impressed by how easy it was to get yggdrasil to make the CGNAT barrier effectively disappear.
