Thank goodness... My girlfriend miraculously has her power back again and the AC is on keeping her cool. I'm just feeling awful for everyone else right now without power. It sucks. I hate hurricanes and storms.

Absolutely. She's a formidable opponent. She was 26 lb when we took her in and we've gotten her down to a little less than 16 lb. That's a huge change. She's an older cat, 12 now, so she might not lose much more weight. But she can run around and play and she's very happy. But she can still bulldoze me over if she wants to, like when I'm bathing her lol.

It is very dramatic. This is the jacket I have to put her in. It's a straight jacket but I prefer to call it the turtleneck — because maybe that makes it sound better? It just stops her from clawing at my face. She was sending me such a death-glare.
