Can anyone please point me out to some resources on how to integrate #bitcoin payments on a website?
I'm extremely new to this and only want potential clients to select from 3 different packs to buy to get premium features in a game server I'm running, and pay the price via #lightning. Then, somehow in the back end, they get the bonus they paid for automatically.
Is this what's called Point of Sale?
Do I need to set up my own #node for this?
Are there any services available to do this for me and take a cut as fees or something?
I'm willing to go down the rabbit hole but when googling I can only find centralized companies and bot-generated articles.

The internet is so broken with SEO optimized websites and bot bullshit that most of the times I find it very difficult to find a simple article talking about what I'm looking for.

Finally finished with this #python #datascience project. I think I made enough tweaks to leave it alone for a while and focus on other projects that are already running.

I am so proud of myself right now that I had to come back and sit on the computer just to write this note.
I finally managed to run my own version of an #Tibia #OT server on a dedicated host after many days of struggling and learning all the how-to's.
What for? just for the sake of it, for the haha's and for that nostalgic feeling of a game I played as a teen.
And why share it here? I don't know, I just felt it was the right place to do so even though if almost no-one shares my joy. I guess #nostr is doing its job on being a social network.
TL-DR: I'm happy.

The goal is to run a Open Tibia server cloning some repos and making modifications to it. It's for me and some friends, just for fun.
The thing is I always encounter a problem that's not considered in the guides, or even sometimes those guides are soooo old that became useless.
Regarding using Linux on real hardware, I've read somewhere in Reddit that Windows ran on VM inside Linux works way better than Linux tan on VM inside Windows. But I still don't know enough and have no idea how to migrate my license in case I decide to switch.
And getting rid of Windows, sadly, is not an option for me.

Well..yes and no. I've recently bought a #raspberrypi 4B 4gb with the main goal of learn by doing and try to run a game server on it. But since there are lots of back-and-forward in the process I'm struggling with lots of dead time (why does it take so long for many simple stuff??).
Anyways, I've decided to run a VM on my main computer, give it more resources to eat and when I finally find the way to make it run then repeat the process in the Pi.

I like Monero, it's good and gives what it promises. But I can't stop thinking it'll be easier to add an extra monero-like-privacy layer to BTC (say, on LN or not) than to move all the credibility and trajectory Bitcoin has to Monero.
