pro tip: some fedi software (for example megalodon) will display users' pronouns next to their nickname, but they'll only do that if you have a label called "pronouns" in your profile
using other labels for kicks, or putting your pronouns in your bio defeat this
for some, not seeing pronouns next to a username implies the user hasn't specified them at all
