Last boost: I happen to remember a relatively prominent unionizing campaign at a sandwich chain where the workers posed two pictures of their subs & asked, "Can you tell which sandwich was made by a sick worker?"

There's a lot; I know quite a few writers. The ones at work give me work to do. The ones here give me support & let me hear about what they're working on & help me feel a little less alone. Then I have my writing group, who read my actual work & give me feedback & who subject me to their lovely stories so I can think through that really hard question: what makes writing work?

Aside: I think I have three general rules for writing.
1) Don't be boring. 2) Say something helpful. 3) Get to the point, but beautifully.
