if I'm lucky? It's usually a 50/50 shot if they're still readable, even fresh from the box. We're also reaching the point where a still-calibrated floppy drive is becoming a precious commodity, so sooner or later I'm gonna have to go to management and be like "yo, you're effed" like I've been warning them for years.

Technology Connections just did a retrospective on MP3 CDs including a full explanation of optical media for the youngins, and holy heck did that make me feel old.
I still use *floppy disks* at work to maintain some of our oldest mfg tools. x_x

this is actually something I've been wanting to ask about for a while. Inline emojis are *tiny* for me, to the point that I can't tell what they are. I'm guessing this is because I have my text size in-app quite small (I like it that way), but I wish there was a way to independently scale the emojis.
90% of Rusty's posts I have to just guess at what the emoji is.

I'm mostly in the same boat; there's a lot of my favorites that feel either completely missing or severely under-represented in the Florida parks.
We'll be visiting the Anaheim Parks next year so maybe I'll be able to change my opinion on some of that there. Either that, or maybe the massive MK expansion planned over the next several years.

Important PSA/request to the entire instance:
When using CW tags, _please_ only use generally accepted basic terms and not slang or jokes.
The whole point of the tags is for filtering, and it doesn't really help if something that, for example, should be labeled as "politics" or "US Pol" is instead marked as "bash the cheeto" or similar.
Goof around all you want in your post, but please treat the CWs as indexable keywords - it makes all the difference for the viewers that need it the most!

wanna trade? Our place is a never-reno'd 70s cape poorly constructed by stoners that never followed a building code in their life, and building maintenance was a foreign concept to the old lady that owned it.

caffeine isn't a normal part of my day either, and I tend to avoid it because it really messes with my mood. Apparently a side effect of the neurospicy.
I will say at least that I adore the smell of coffee. Tastes disgusting to me though.

I kinda like the idea of trying full-body rubber / latex (it's certainly a turn-on), but I'm also a big sweaty guy that's always warm anywhere other than in a freezer. I hate the feeling of being wet with sweat. Even wearing just my SnapJaw hood overheats me. Is there any way to avoid that aspect of it or is it just part of the territory I'd have to accept?

Spent the majority of the weekend wiring the house for CAT6 so we can finally stop using WiFi on our desktops after six months of struggle.
Didn't get anywhere near the whole project done, and I think I almost died several times crawling in the roof eaves. But at least Panda can play WoW more enjoyably now, which makes the suffering (and suffering-to-be) worth it.
