if you have 100GB of spare space on your harddrive you really can just keep wikipedia on your computer and it's not even hard to set up
1 - download the file (yes one 100gb file)
2 - install kiwix browser extension
3 - launch kiwix browser extension and tell it where the file is
done. local wikipedia, all of it, even with images. i just did this and it works great

one thing that I really love to think about is the fact that all those Let's Encrypt certs we're all requesting and renewing all the time? we're *basically* all just connecting to one literal physical 2U server to do that
