“Ophanim” (here Optical Photon and Antimatter Imager) are the wheels within wheels full of eyes on their rims – appropriate for a device that uses 60 cell-phone camera sensors – that Ezekiel saw in his chariot (merkabah) vision.
The family Latin-learner and I make the motto out to be something like “Man has made eyes out of rock by art and skill/ingenuity – now the wonder/monster is used for learning about the universe”, with “resciscendum” misspelled.

On second thought, though, this time I think the system was probably okay, but the messaging was confusing. (She thought she had to /know/ her assigned password, when she was actually meant to /reset/ it. Not going to find out, because the editor already told her to just e-mail it ...)

@nprofile…5plc That’s the one with the rose garden, isn’t it? I think the Turks had also been recently renovating it when I visited Budapest in 2002 or 2003 and looked it up on a whim (because of a passage in Adam LeBor’s A Heart Turned East, I think). It looked nice.
