@npub14yq…rfl3 Yeah! I played through all of Legend of Grimrock 1 & 2 and a lot of The Witness with it and those have a fair bit of mouse interaction but it worked well.

@npub15gv…74v6 I've seen people say this a lot but I've used DDG for years and very rarely felt it's a problem. Maybe I have missed out on years of somehow better search results but I don't know how they can be better than finding the thing I'm looking for.

error: file '/boot/initramfs-linux.img' not found.
This... is not good, is it? I'm running EndeavourOS and ran 'yay' to update. Something crashed mid update and kicked me back to login screen (still don't know why that happens sometimes). After logging in I got a notification that I should restart because system was updated, and doing so left me with my computer not booting and showing the above message.
I do not love these things.

I've spent a couple of days with Rust and so far I mostly like it. Still on pretty basic stuff but I'm past the first stage of not having a clue so I can write actual code without looking every single piece of syntax up.
I really like the "last statement of a block is its value" thing and how it interacts with control flow, but it looks naked and weird as the return value of functions. It'll probably grow on me.
I wish "Some" had a better name, but I don't know what it would be.

On Linux, is there any defined set (standardized or de facto) of shared libraries that can be assumed to be present and linked to dynamically when distributing software binaries?

Just spent a few evenings on this editor but it's coming along pretty well I think. Initially I just want to support basic features I use every now and then when mocking UIs and stuff, which is mostly copy/pasting things around.
Struggled with some DPI wonkiness in Godot but in general it has been fairly straight forward.
I intend to open source it if anyone's interested.

Trying out Rust + Bevy examples. Not a fantastic experience so far first with long compile (or actually link) times, and then some jumping through hoops to switch to dynamic linking and actually get that building without errors.
BUT now it builds and a tiny example takes ~2s instead of ~15s to build so that's a starting point at least.

Firefox users, is there any way to search youtube in the address bar? In Chrome I just type "you" and hit tab and it goes into a search right in the bar. Same for some other sites.
