I always love watching games on this field at Starfire. The small size can turn a match between the best teams onto a chaotic free-for-all. It’s a lot like watching a little kids soccer game. Players are crowded together and anything can happen.

I often see shelf fungus on trees when hiking in the #PNW but I don’t recall seeing one before in this early stage where it looks so wet and shiny and the colors are so vivid. The second picture is a regular old shelf fungus that was real close to the young one.

I’m looking through my King County voter’s pamphlet and seeing we have 28 primary candidates for Governor, and at least 24 of these look (to me anyway) like total crackpots.
