Explain to me how it can remain decentralized. I understand that nations are creating their own digital currency but how can Bitcoin remain decentralized?
Thinking years down the line (should it ever become the standard) how would someone who has The most Bitcoin not be influential enough in making decisions impacting Bitcoin that benefit them, in wanting to improve their status and position from those with fewer Bitcoin, outside of coercion? Whatever decision that individual makes will take hold because of financial influence over those who would follow orders. They're paying for influence to get their way.
It may not be any nation that makes this happen but someone with enough Bitcoin can eventually control the Bitcoin world.
Centralization seems inevitable.

Money/Bitcoin and decentralization is incompatible. If Bitcoin ever dominates in everyday use it'll take the world down the path to exactly where we are today, so nothing will change. You'll always have someone in power.

To change the mode of production the strike must come from tenants. Tenants must collude to draw up a list of growing demands to the point that the landlord cannot meet those demands anymore. Once they're not met the strike begins. After it begins the strike must spread to other apartment buildings.
The strike has to come from tenants and not workers because it's easier for tenants to withhold their savings. Workers don't go to work looking forward to sacrificing their income. Workers strike for better working conditions, which means better pay. Better pay has no path to changing the mode of production.
Once a growing amount of tenants strike it will have a ripple effect throughout the economy. Eviction courts will be overwhelmed with cases to the point they won't be able to enforce evictions anymore. The growing strike, by default, will render landlords eventually pointless. Paying rent will be a thing of the past which will resolve the homeless crisis among other things.
Money will begin to lose its value to the point where everything will begin to belong to the commons. Purchasing power dissolves, the billionaire class shrinks.
Once the billionaire class shrinks the state withers away, as the sole purpose of the state is to protect the billionaire (ruling) class. Once billionaires and the state wither away along with money, equality is finally achieved along with the resolution of the world's ills.
No guns, no violence. Only tenants colluding to withhold their rent will lead us down the path that is long overdue: a stateless, classless, moneyless society.

there's hypocrisy in your wanting to abolish the state when the state, by its very nature, has the landlord's back over yours. so if you want your landlord to remain intact so he can continue earning his money, then your viewpoint on the state should change. you can't embrace the landlord entity, yet at the same time despise the state. one exists because of the other.
whether you can continue to reside in a unit without paying rent for months, it boils down to the tenant's eventual eviction b/c the landlord will want his money some day.

If you don't pay rent to your landlord you would be homeless. So you are being forced to pay. That's how the economy is constructed. And this is something that's backed by the state. Law enforcement will come and throw your stuff out at the landlord's request.
And It's ridiculous to compare yourself to the typical worker who has a boss to answer to.
The goal isn't to convince people like you that our aim should be to live in a classless society. The goal is to get there by getting a growing amount of tenants to strike.

you're focused on one tiny portion of the bigger picture i laid out.
landlords make up a good portion of the ruling class. more tenants go on strike, the landlord class dwindles. the state is the protective barrier between landlords and tenants (i.e., bosses and workers). if there is no landlords/bosses anymore, there is no need for the state. the state withers away from a tenant-driven rent-free economy. and when the state withers, a classless society is achieved.

growing amount of tenants have to collude to withhold their rent permanently against their landlord to jam up eviction courts. once courts are jammed, the state can no longer enforce evictions. if evictions aren't being enforced, tenants are living rent free -- which will have a ripple effect on economies throughout the world, eventually rendering the state useless.
i don't agree that workers in the workplace can pull this off with a "general strike" b/c workers want better wages. it's easier for tenants to withhold their savings in rent than for workers to sacrifice their income when striking.
