@npub1wc2…4sk7 Humu. Won't faster memory still only run at the speed that's supported by the CPU? Sorry if those are dumb questions by the way, all of my computer part knowledge is less than one weekend of research worth. :yuzutehe:

@npub1wc2…4sk7 The max memory speed supported by the 7900X is supposedly 5200, so I've only looked at DDR5-5200 memory and the best timings I can get for that one seem to be CL36 36-36-36-83. But I'm guessing that will be an improvement already?

@npub1wc2…4sk7 I've had better experiences with Seagate than with WD, so I'm willing to stick to them. Thanks for pointing out the RAM timings though. I'm not sure how to interpret them though: is something like CL36 36-36-36-83 better than CL40 40-40-40-77? And does it really matter?
