After having moved from Google Docs to LibreOffice recently, I came across @npub10cs…n44p . After some comparative online research I decided to install OnlyOffice, and I quite like it. The UI / UX is cleaner and more accessible than LibreOffice's UI / UX, and OnlyOffice's native file formats are simply the Microsoft Office formats (DocX etc.), for seamless compatibility.

Around 1991 our game dev team's coder added 3 audio channels to the 4 existing ones in the Amiga, by using the 68000 CPU's power.
The audio quality was better than the method of splitting each channel.
It was added to our music editor Digital Mugician, and used by Ramon Braumuller to create this 7-voice intro tune for our game Hoi (1992).

In 1993, our small game dev team released an Amiga puzzle game called Cognition.
This is the title soundtrack by our composer Ramon Braumuller, mod file size: 166 KB.
Our coder made a tool to convert 16-bit digital sounds to the Amiga's 8-bit audio via a MIDI cable, to circumvent audio quality loss when using an analog-to-digital sampler device.
This resulted in crisp sound samples for the track's instruments.

In the late 1980s, real-life imagery was fed to a computer via a digitizer device.
I had an old black and white security camera connected to my Amiga computer via a Digi-View digitizer.
Digitizing was so slow that if you moved your face during a scan, the results were perfect youngster fun.
So me and my game dev partners did a peculiar photo session.
I remember we laughed so hard at the results that our stomachs ached. 😆

Our Amiga game Hoi was released worldwide on 3.5 inch diskettes in 1992.
This cheerful tune was composed by our musician Ramon Braumuller for level 1, using our own music editor Digital Mugician.
The tune reflects the sheer fun we had creating the game back in the early 1990s.

As a youngster, I made my first Deluxe Paint pixel art on an Amiga 1000 in 1986. Coming from a Commodore 64 with a fixed palette of 16 colors, the Amiga was revolutionary at the time.
I went on to use "DPaint" professionally on a daily basis for around 10 years, creating pixel graphics for games, advertising agencies and television shows.

Our music composer Ramon Braumuller made some demo tracks, including this one. Wait for the part with the sampled guitar riffs, which were live-played by the guitarist of his former band, Michel van Polen.

In 1990 our Amiga shoot-'em-up game Venom Wing was released by the British Thalamus game publisher.
I asked our musician Ramon Braumuller to create a fitting title tune, reflecting the adventures of a space fighter pilot. As Ramon is a very skilled drummer, I also asked him to process a drum solo into the 4-channel tune. The size of the tune, including all sound samples, is 168 kilobytes.

The BZR Player (see previous post in this thread) allowed me to resurrect an Amiga music module I hadn't been able to convert to MP3 yet.
It's a song by Ramon Braumuller for a hidden sub-game in level 3 of our game Hoi (1992). The game was a shoot 'em up that increased in speed, so the tune reflects the hectic gameplay. 🙂

In the late 1980s our small game dev team developed 2 Amiga music editors: SIDmon and Digital Mugician, both featuring synth sounds and sampled sounds.
Mugician was published by the British Thalamus game publisher in 1990, and was used for several Amiga games, including our own.
This is our composer Ramon Braumuller's 4-channel Mugician intro.

As a youngster in the late 1980s, I formed an #Amiga game dev team with 2 partners.
Before making games, we tried to sell low-RAM game music, made with our editor SIDmon.
To promote our music, an army game style tune was composed by our musician Ramon Braumuller. It's only 42 kilobytes, Including sampled sounds.

From the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s, I was a daily and weekly news cartoonist for the Dutch NU.nl site and the Dutch NRC(.next) newspaper.
I chose 3D graphics as the medium, because it was novel for news cartoons, and it allowed me to build a library of reusable characters, props and decors.
Back then I worked with 3ds Max, and rendered with V-Ray.

When I was a youngster in the late 1980s, I formed an Amiga game dev team with 2 friends.
Before making games, we started by trying to sell game music that used minimal RAM, made with our music editor SIDmon.
To promote our game music, this energetic music module was composed by our musician Ramon Braumuller. The file, including tiny sampled sounds, is only 22 kilobytes.

Back in the 2000s I wanted to push precious 8-bit childhood nostalgia to an extra dimension.
As there were no dedicated voxel editors yet, I made the works by extruding quad polygons in 3ds Max.

In the mid-2000s I created a newspaper comic strip series about a sheep and a mole.
The main characters were produced as limited-edition vinyl toys and USB lamps by Crazy Label in Hong Kong, and sold in designer toy stores around the world.
