Twas my day off and I wanted to play around on Replit. I have no idea what I’m doing. I haven’t coded anything in a decade. But I’ve been experimenting with different AI.
Anyway, I wanted to create a prototype for a Menstrual Cycle tracker tool since it’s something I frequently use. I’ve used many, many different kinds of period tracker apps in the many years I’ve had a smartphone, but haven’t found something consistent to my liking.
None of the apps sync data across all apps, so its predictive features are almost useless. In some apps, you can’t download your data. There are some apps that are incredibly bloated with details to the point where normal users have to learn a separate set of knowledge to manually analyze their data on the app.

Yesterday marks 2 weeks since my cat Sora passed away. I feel like there are a lot of “firsts” w Sora. Aside from grief, all the people I’ve interacted w/ to make this process much better have been incredibly compassionate.
The day she passed away, I went to the beach. We finally got her ashes back in this wooden, rose carved box. So, I took her with me as I went to the beach yesterday.
Didn’t scatter ashes or anything like that because I learned that I have to schedule an appointment with whoever runs the state beach park lol

what do you think they need them for? Since this was a contract initiated under Biden, the reason probably extends to this administration regardless. Unless they’ve already halted it. I would imagine it would probably replace whatever vehicles they use for government officials vs the long limo. Or maybe it’s just simple funding of producing more cyber trucks. It’s a fairly small contract in comparison to most.

I can’t believe I’m running Linux again haha. Blew the dust collecting on my thinkpad running Ubuntu with a Virtual Machine from 10 years ago. 🤣 I wonder if installing an ssd will make it significantly better, probs not worth it haha.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to repurpose old technology. For example, I still have my mom’s iPhone 4s. It’s jailbroken. There’s no iOS support on it anymore, but it’s still in perfect condition. I take pride in taking care of my things and use it until I can’t anymore. I dislike waste. I initially wanted to figure out how to turn it into a cold wallet, but it was impossible. Not sure what to do, but I think I’ll engrave my mom’s initials on it.
I know we’re in the world of AI, but I can’t help but think there’s something more to repurposing gadgets we’ve had. Most of the world isn’t even technologically comparable to highly advanced societies tbh. There are literally countries now that are just getting internet.

Most of my time however has been dedicated to studying tax law, specifically federal taxation. It’s tax season so I be doin’ taxes too and I also volunteer once a week to do people’s taxes for a nonprofit in an underserved area in my city. As intuitive as I am, i still don’t have a crystal ball to everything, but I’m genuinely interested in international taxation and digital asset taxation. I’m interested to know what the future looks like for the two.
Even though I study these things, i still don’t like taxes and being taxed 🤣. If the IRS hasn’t crumbled in the near future, my future EA designation still allows me to represent normal people w their tax problems in front of the IRS lol, but how these laws and policies get developed is fascinating and that’s something I want to learn
If Bitcoin reaches a certain large percentage of adoption through retail all over the world, I wonder if it would make sense to have one flat very clear cut low tax worldwide vs country to country taxation. I obviously prefer a tax free BTC but let’s be real, taxes aren’t going away anytime soon. & centralized power will always want control especially over things like bitcoin. & lets be even more real, Bitcoin isn’t going anywhere.
It’s probably not relevant because currency is still different in each country, but btc is borderless, permission-less, and its value is 1:1.
I think about this because there are a lot of people who have moved overseas due to high taxation on their cryptocurrency. Wouldn’t the concentration of people who have crypto in specific areas kind of isolate usage of crypto in the real world? Doesn’t that mean it’s more likely for Bitcoin to be kept like gold instead of money to be spent?
This feels like something that would be considered 20 years down the line.

As soon as my 9th house profection year started, I’ve had nonstop studying since November. I feel like it’s not stopping anytime soon too.
For the most part, I’m back in school to take a few fun classes - voice and piano. I’m not formally trained in either, but it’ll be fun to finally understand technical stuff when it comes to singing. I have been dedicating weekly practice and study of astrology. I’ve kept up my language study. I’m in day 270 in Duolingo. I’m on the verge of taking on another year long program for a completely different subject. Still having internal conflict. And on my free time I watch/read world news and keep a close watch. I’ve also had to learn about my cats and their health because they’re 17 years old now.
The 9th house also represents gurus, teachers, and spirituality. So, I’m in the presence of teachers and professionals who GENUInELY care about my well being and developing me 🥹
Gonna give myself brownie points for the spiritual growth. I’ve always felt that mentors and teachers that come in your life are there for whatever season you’re living in. & a mark of progress is closing that connection and releasing dependency on the tools you’ve used to get there.

Hi! I study Hellenistic Astrology along with many things. There are 12 houses in astrology that represent each part of life. The 8th house in particular speaks to my personal chart’s characteristics.
A basic overview of the 8th house can be found in the picture I’ve attached.
There are a lot of disciplines that can be applied within astrology such as finance, world events, relationships, etc.
In the context of astrology and money, the eighth house represents other people‘s money and shared resources. The eighth house also represents the hidden and secrets.
