Here in El Salvador I come to realise how tyrannical Canada has become.
Almost 50% of the people in the bitcoin space here are Canadians and it's the largest foreign nationality in El Salvador.
I've met already two persons who's bank accounts were frozen.
The government is going after free speech with the introduction of Bill C-63.
People can bring in complaints for zero cost. The incentive structure is aligned for the accuser. An approved accusition (which is decided centralised) has zero cost, but might bring the accuser 20000 $, while the accused person can be fined up to 50000$.
Penalties are reaching up to life long imprisonment.
Furthermore just on the premise, that you might cause harm online the government can ban you from social media.
The first thing that is taken away in the decline to tyrannism is freedom of speech. (Besides money of course!)
People will start to snitch for reasons, that aren't existent and you will find yourself in the Sowjet union pretty soon!
El Salvador is truly the Ark! 🇸🇻🌅

A big dream is coming true right now! 🌠
Since I am a little child I wanted to travel the world. Doing a world tour was fixed for me immediately after finishing school. As a kid I used to watch lots of documentary of people traveling the world in different ways, like sailing, by bicycle or by one wheel bike.
When I graduated, COVID build a fence around that dream. I was lost and fell into a pit during the lockdowns not knowing what to do. I worked some jobs and decided to enslave myself in studies and working in an insurance.
Thanks to bitcoin, 2 years later I realised that bullshit, cancelled it and yesterday,3 months later, I flew to Mexico.
I fell like a settler in the 1900 only that this time it'll be under a hard money standard, where I can't confiscate or manipulate the inhabitants of the land.🗽
I am looking for the promised land and want to cooperate and create value to get along! 🌄 🇭🇳
Excited about the people I meet, what bitcoin teaches me along the way and the experiences!
We're contemporary witness of the best time in mankind unfolding in front of us and I maximise my participation in it. 🧡
I am going to document parts of that journey on nostr!

I am thankful for #btcprague. I have never learnt more in 2 days!
Here are my takeaways:
Bitcoin is a tool for self-sovereignty and helps you to take responsibility for every other aspect of your life besides money.
There is already the opportunity to decentralize your life in almost every aspect.
- #nostr is going to decentralize the internet:
With an incentive system to bring value and censorship resistance it will accelerate the process of finding the truth (the end of inquiry)
- With that you will only get the reward, that people value in your work. The person, that brings the greatest value is the one that'll be rewarded the most longterm
- It will allow markets to be even more decentralized and will allow to meet buyers and sellers more efficient
About Health from Jack Kruse: Our time is the scarcest asset we have, not #bitcoin. Health gives us more time. That's why our health is more important than our bitcoins.
The three bitcoin girls in the panel with @npub1cn4…3vle teached me:
- Learn the things you are interested in
- Have an open mind
- Stand your ground
If the future bitcoin generation are as self-sovereign as them, it’ll reduce the suffering in the world tremendously.
- I learned about @npub1mft…rkl3: A peer-to-peer anonymous market place: It allows to delete regulations of the state out of trade. It makes it possible to trade things locally without the interference of state.
I am grateful to be a part of this world changing, because that's the future I wish to live. 🌠
