Must be nice getting to opt out of poverty. Sadly, one must commit to the social experiment no matter the cost seeing as most folk who are homeless and broke can't do that and would be breaking the experiment. Get back out there sport, if you're going to embark on this then see it through.

This is the paradox of tolerance issue where we give the intolerant a voice because we think we owe it to hear everyone. No, we remove the intolerant for a reason, they have not agreed to the rules of the situation by being intolerant and therefore are not permitted to participate.
Farage isn't a symptom or at least not of this specific problem, he's an opportunist who took advantage of a pre-existing undercurrent of racist/xenophobic distrust to line his own pockets.

Yeah, that's the biggest flaw in the FPTP system, it eventually will be about keeping someone out rather than who you might want in. Not so much a democratic expression but more a desperate act of self-preservation from a populace trying to survive under an indifferent ruling class.

The timeline is long enough and the disasters at a distance away that it doesn't do anything to change things. If it's a sudden shock then something happens which makes sense for a system that reacts on a moment to moment basis and rarely considers anything a decade or so out.

Forums are... bad? I dunno, I've been on many and never really appreciated how weird they can be when they're not being occasionally useful. Also, some forums have that weird four character minimum for searches so good luck if your thing has less than that.
