I play bass and write code in Common Lisp. Used to do things with IT infrastructure, but now I'm more focused on knowledge management, where IT infra is a topic I still remember stuff about.

Neurodivergent, queer, poly, resident disaster bi, cats, equal rights for everybody, all the usual stuff.

Mostly I work on Restagraph and Syscat.

Following on from the Quicklisp discussion that @npub1fzx…t6h3 initiated, I've been exploring how Syscat could build on Xach's work, and take things a few steps further. I'm developing my thoughts and prototyping here:

Caveats: it's a work in progress, and there's a bunch of documentation about the underlying software that I haven't yet deployed to that site.

@npub198t…hasj Did you watch People Like Us, back in the day?
The Vicar is a favourite episode in this household: "I just thought I'd put it to one side."
If you haven't watched it, I recommend it as the best mockumentary series you're likely to find. Some of the best writing I've ever witnessed on TV, and it just gets funnier as you watch more of it.

On the other, there's *enough* "lawyer" that I know what you do professionally, and the rest tells me you'd be at the top of my shortlist if we were in the same jurisdiction.
So you're definitely not the worst available. In fact, you're probably a good counter-example of how to attract clients who *aren't* hung up on a stuffy and sanitised ideal of "professionalism."
