it's so much fun 😊 I ran a 5k and got home and my daughter asked if I would take her skating, and it really sunk in how I wouldn't have been able to participate with her before. We used to go and I'd sit and watch her. She says it's more fun now. 🥰

I have officially lost 50 lbs since last July 😊
I can now run for 30 minutes without a walking break, and I run 3x a week.
I do strength training 3-4x a week, and have gone from not being able to lift myself at all on the pull up bar with the strongest resistance band, to doing a full pull up with that band - I've moved on to the next band now.
I can lift and carry all of my kids, two at a time. I can give my kids piggy back rides. I can roller skate for 2 hours with my daughter.

the design is not mine I didn't mean to imply that, it was created by someone and shared on Adafruit. The original designer went through a few iterations, they shared a video about it.

very little. Heat set inserts are often done by hand, but this makes it easier to control the 90 degree angle, and keep hands away from hot bits. The actual pressure needed to press down is low. It's counter weighted to raise up after pressing.
That said it's very strong.

One of the coolest things I've made with the new printer, a heat set insert press, but I have to give credit to my awesome husband who made the gorgeous walnut base. I asked for it to have a tray to hold the inserts and screws and bits. The rest was printed and assembled by me 😉
