Tyler Smith

I'm a botanist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, working at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa. My work focuses on crop wild relatives and wild-harvested species, particularly berries; and invasive plant species. I am trained as a plant taxonomist and community ecologist, and have expertise in R, distribution modeling, population genetics, flow cytometry and conservation biology.

My interests include photography, woodworking, kayaking, swimming, hiking and natural history.
