@npub1c5c…644a If you're going somewhere with low chance of bears acclimatized to humans, you should be fine.
Bears eat mostly berries, nuts, etc. And they're terrified of humans.
Bear attacks on groups of 2 or more humans very rare. Solo, is still very unlikely.
An area with garbage, and a history of sloppy campers, is more cause for concern.
Other species would be more more risk too, like polar bears.

@npub1vh3…8mkp I hear ya. I prefer when it's sealed by the manufacturer. I have seam sealed 2 in the last couple of years, and it wasn't that bad. I recommend vinyl gloves to keep the stuff off your hands though. So sticky!
