Compared to Samsung, Google spends little promoting Pixel phones. Plus, at least in the US, people still buy most of their phones through carriers. Google needs to push and incentivize them to sell their phones.
If Google doesn’t push hard to sell the phones, why would case makers and sellers stock them?

Years ago I started listening to streaming music on Spotify. After Apple Music came out I switched to it. I honestly can't remember why, but I did. Apple Music's recommendations weren't bad really...they just weren't great.
The last 2 months I've been trying out Spotify because everyone always raves about it's recommendations.
Surprisingly, it has been pure trash. I don't know if I've been doing something wrong. I've liked over 2,000 songs so it should have a pretty good idea what I like. For example, I liked "Despacito" and hidden all other Spanish songs it recommends. Still, I constantly get Spanish albums and playlists recommendations. Same thing with country music. For me, whatever recommendation system they are using is awful.
Pandora though...I don't know what it is. I like 5 songs and it gives me the perfect playlist...every...single...time.
Dunno, maybe Spotify can't figure out what to do with my love for Pink Floyd, Whitney Houston, and Green Day. Or maybe it thinks the songs I liked are trash so it gives me trash in return.
Am I the only one who hasn't had luck with Spotify?

I do watch quite a bit of sports, mostly basketball, some football (US), a bit of soccer now and then.
Use open source as much as a I can, but I still love my Apple products.
I watch too much TV. Sometimes I get sucked into reality shows like The Real Housewives of New Jersey when my partner watches it. Prostitution whore!
