I saw this worn coin on the sidewalk. I was thinking a Canadian dime but looked a bit small. On picking it up it was clearly aluminum. How did a Moldovan coin get to Edmonton? We may never know. Just now I held to our dime and the diameter is about the same.

For those who have not endured a course in thermodynamics:
The cold in Alberta is part of our climate change issues and does not disprove it. Extreme cold is completely consistent.
As you raise the average, you will also increase the spread of the curve. The system becomes less predictable.

Shopping today, I saw two different people cough into their hand and then touch products. I know it is now known COVID seldom moves by contact surfaces but other bugs do move. How do we get better habit formed action?
Yes, cough into your elbow by bending your head down to the elbow. If any spray is made, it projects to the floor and does not cover your hand.
Only a few percent of us were in masks but a few percent.

Areas burned 2023 in Canada.

I had a look. All the archived years are all much higher. Dangerous trend indeed. I also looked up the dead pool and it is 540 ft. River banks taper so very non-linear to get there.
