That seems about right. We will get some cold snaps if the sky is clear, but often it's rainy. When I talk to people about living in #Vancouver, I say that it can be rainy and hovering around 1*C from October - April... some people just can't take that.

@nprofile…hr7s The winter was fairly mild as usual... It's very rainy like today for much of it. We did have some good stretches of blue sky.
If you're looking for somewhere to explore while you're here, I highly recommend the Sunshine Coast, and going up to see the skookumchuck rapids.

This is the noise level in my house when the main breaker is turned off.
S5 at the lowest! I was hoping to find some misbehaving appliance but it seems it's just everywhere. 😔

The second biggest regret in my life was when I was heading to class and a women pulled over in a gorgeous 70's Cutlass convertible to ask for directions to Wreck Beach. What I should have done was said "I'll hop in and show you!", and instead I said, "it's down the road to your left", and carried on to my linear algebra class.
