WOS is a lightning service provider LSP. They have multiple channels open with well connected nodes. They are letting you use their channels. These channels channels don’t open and close regularly. They have a balance of funds on both sides of the channel and they “top up” and rebalance channels when necessary. Running your own node with Zues wallet will really help you understand how channel opening and closing if works if you want to dig into it.

When people say bitcoin has no inflation, they mean in relation to fiat correct? Bitcoin inflates the supply every 10 minutes. Of course this is static/planned inflation. I dont understand why people say "got inflation? get bitcoin". seems like there are better slogans to be had.

Hey man, can you explain how all these RPis are causing the network issues? Are a lot of pi's crashing and screwing up routes? I have been running 3 different pi nodes with ssd and they are working ok. You mentioned "DC card", do you mean the micro SD card? Anyway im always interested in learning and would love to increase the reliability of my node. Can you help provide a list of suitable hardware that someone could use to build a more reliable node?

HI Jeff, I would love to agree with you but I have a theory. The more you go down a particluar hole and are passionate about it, more and more other people who are like minded appear. I have been down a few rabbit holes including yoga, spirituality and bitcoin. After a year or 2 in each of those spaces, i get the feeling that the world is waking up and becoming better. I then pause and step out of the "bubble" and see most of the world is still the same. Anyways, thanks for what you do and for being here in this rabbit hole/revolution/counter culture with me.

great post. convincing the world about bitcoin is an up hill task. It will leave you feeling deflated/defeated. Like you said many people have low testosterone and are still asleep. They are not ready for bitcoin. Many people are asleep. They havent woken up to the world around them. Bitcoin can help them wake up but it will happen only when they are ready. If you preach to normies about NWO and the evil government, they will shake their head in disbeleif and call you crazy. Many people are lost causes and mostly only the young are worthy to exit the matrix. I think the best aproach is stack sats and stay humble. Let those people that you care about, know that you believe in bitcoin and let it sit there. Mention it randomly and then have the discipline to stop and not push it. When they are ready to wake up, they will come to you. Or they wont and they, along with 90% of the world, will wake up one day to a bitcoin standard and they will learn real quick.

Wow thanks for that personal introspection! I agree spending time away from your spouse is very helpful and rewarding. I think too much time together diminishes yourself. Also about personal contact, I feel its very important to have Bitcoin meetups in person and connect physically with humans. While alone in the US, maybe find a new hobby like group hiking or an in person book club. Take care.
