VP candidate and MN Governor Tim Walz owns one car: a restored 1979 International Harvester Scout II.
This is fun for me because I grew up surrounded, literally, by IH vehicles and still claim ownership of a Scout (contrary to my kid brother’s claim on it).

I love that I can edit @npub1are…fcch myself, and the changes appear automatically in all software that uses it.
I marked Nortz Road as `access=private` because it goes through a military base. Now, 21 days later, several mapping tools using OSM data no longer suggest routes that cross the military base (ridewithgps.com, bikerouter.de, and komoot.com). However, Gaia GPS has not yet included the change in its database. Gaia will update eventually.

I think the feature you’re describing is called Reachability. You can turn it off in Settings → Accessibility → Touch. #iOS

Airports too.
I’m on a grounded airplane at SFO because their passenger booking system failed just after we finished boarding. Lots of reports on twitter with similar issues at airports globally.

Things I learned while routing a bike tour:
- Route-mapping tools will try to send you through a closed military base (the blue track going along the beach).
- Use Google Maps to see which roads the Street View driver was allowed to enter (right image; the base is clearly inaccessible to the public).
- Strava Heatmap can be useful for routing, but military people use it, so it includes restricted areas.
- There is a Wendy’s on the base. 🍔

I wish articles like this would include, up front, the indicators of compromise that I can use to test if the servers I manage are affected. It's the first and most important thing I want to know when learning about a vulnerability.
